Calm Qi

Analyst

Calm works side-by-side with our Chief Investment Officer in leading the Investment Strategy Group (ISG). As a Portfolio Analyst in ISG, he monitors our current model portfolios and proposes enhancements to our investment models through his research findings. He is an active member in ISG and participates in all sub investment committees. Calm works with our CIO to prepare our investment outlook presentation on a quarterly basis and webinars year-round.

Calm graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a Master of Science in Finance in 2020, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western Washington University. Prior to joining Coldstream, he had various internships within the financial services industry in areas ranging from mutual funds to futures. His focus on data driven results and analytical mindset is undeniably valuable to ISG and Coldstream as a whole.

Most Treasured Thing I Own

My collection of kitchen gadgets ranging from a pasta machine to specialized cutlery. You would be amazed at how many gadgets I have hiding in my kitchen! I love them, but they are a pain to pack whenever I need to move.

One piece of Advice

Always have courage to accept new challenges.

Hobbies

I like to go fishing and cook delicious meals from the fish I catch. Salmon is my all-time favorite fish. During the non-fishing seasons, I like to plan my next trip and develop new recipes that draw inspiration from the places I visited.
