Peter Beeson

FIT Insurance | Co-Founder & Team Lead

Peter arrived at the concept of Fit Insurance through his profound passion for cycling and fitness. Through Fit Insurance, he is now using his vast experience and knowledge to lead a team of professionals dedicated to matching insurance to client.

Peter is among a select group to be named a Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance by Wharton and Chubb, CAPI. This prestigious program requires agents with the highest level of expertise, to understand the total family balance sheet and advise successful clients on their complex risk management and insurance needs. As a 4th generation insurance professional, Peter brings these same principles to Fit Insurance. Before launching Fit, he was an owner and Chief Insurance Designer for Seattle Insurance Agency Inc.

Whether it’s waking up for his regular 5:30am spin class, long distance cycling, or running the Chicago Marathon, Peter has used his desire, determination, and commitment to attain his goals.

Peter attended both the University of Washington and Wharton, earning the Wharton CAPI Designation, and has been a Certified Insurance Counselor since 1996.

To me, it doesn’t matter whether it’s raining or the sun is shining or whatever: as long as I’m riding a bike I know I’m the luckiest guy in the world. ― Mark Cavendish.

The sun was shining bright, Lake Washington was filled with boats, kayaks, and paddleboards, and kids are out of school and playing outside. Summertime has always been synonymous with having fun. It’s a chance to take a break and spend [...]
