(Pronouns: she/her/hers)

Katie believes a great financial plan begins by understanding the complexities surrounding one’s financial life. Her experience as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER allows her to ask questions that may have been previously overlooked for a comprehensive, holistic approach. With a passion for advocacy and education, she strives to approach client relationships with efficiency, creativity, flexibility, and stability.

As an Associate Wealth Manager, Katie is responsible for helping clients define their financial goals and then developing a successful plan to meet those objectives. She works hand-in-hand with clients and their trusted advisors (CPAs, attorneys, trustees) to ensure no stone is left unturned in the creation of an effective and meaningful wealth management strategy.

“My biggest sense of accomplishment comes from knowing I’ve helped a client reach a deeper peace of mind. To me, there is no greater satisfaction than witnessing a client’s goals come to fruition and watching their confidence blossom.”

Katie is a true problem solver with a special eye for the details. She graduated from Portland State University Honors College with a double major in economics and French. Katie holds the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner and holds Life, Health, and Variable Line Insurance Licenses in the State of Oregon.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

MOST TREASURED THING I OWN

It would have to be a tie between photos of family and friends, and a handful of small family heirlooms.

ONE PIECE OF ADVICE

Progress can happen in big chunks, but I find more regularly that it happens in small, incremental achievements over time. It’s important to continue asking questions, and to be open to trying new ideas or opportunities.

HOBBIES

Outside of the office I am a brunch and coffee enthusiast, enjoy a good boardgame night, and frequently find myself outside—preferably hiking, at the beach or in my garden. My true happiest state is when I am travelling! I also dedicate time each month for volunteering, with focuses on issues affecting the houseless and LGBTQ communities.
