Julie Florence

As Senior Client Service Associate, Julie works with Wealth Managers to create a streamlined and effortless client experience. She is dedicated to delivering consistent, timely, and accurate service with personal care and attention.

Julie joined Coldstream in 2024, bringing more than 20 years of investment industry experience with her. Most recently, she served for eight years as a Senior Client Associate with Arnerich Massena. Prior experience includes working as a Client Services Manager for Ameriprise Financial Services.

Julie Florence earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from St. Olaf College, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Washington University, and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota.

THE MOST TREASURED THING I OWN

There are a number of things I treasure: a beautiful ceramic manger set my grandmother made along with pictures she painted ― she was a talented artist; a picture from my childhood in Golden Valley, Minnesota of our next-door neighbor Clayton Moore dressed up in his Lone Ranger attire with me, some of my siblings, and a bunch of other kids for his daughter’s birthday party; and a large Coleman cooler that my husband and I still use to this day ― we brought it out on our three-month camping trip when we moved to the Pacific Northwest from Minnesota years ago and one week’s worth of food fits into it perfectly.

ONE PIECE OF ADVICE

Listen to your intuition ― I have found that following my inner voice has always served me well. It has led me to work that I love and to many good decisions over the years.

HOBBIES

Yoga; easy hikes; getting completely absorbed in a book (I particularly love fiction ― there are so many phenomenal writers out there); and spending time with my husband, son, and daughter-in-law (who are all great at Eurogames ― board games); as well as cherished friends.
