David grew up in a small town where his parents instilled in him and his brother the belief that they could achieve anything, regardless of their financial situation. They taught him the importance of hard work, listening to others, and always striving to improve. After college, David knew he wanted a career where he could help people while continuously learning and taking on new challenges. Although he initially stumbled into advising families while pursuing a financial education, it quickly became the perfect fit, and now, he can’t imagine doing anything else.

Helping people navigate their financial futures is something David finds incredibly rewarding. For him, it’s not just about managing the numbers; it’s about building meaningful relationships and being there for life’s big moments. At Coldstream, he plays a direct role in shaping the firm’s growth and thrives on the challenges that come with it. He’s genuinely passionate about his work.

Coldstream worked with David to establish our Boise, Idaho presence, which is important as David becomes more involved and supportive of his Idaho-based community. He aims to create long-lasting relationships with his clients, helping them focus on what they enjoy most in life. His goal is to provide financial peace of mind by clarifying their goals, reducing stress around money, and educating them along the way. Whether it’s buying a home, retirement planning, navigating major life transitions, or setting up a legacy, David is there to guide them every step of the way.

HOBBIES

Outside of work, David enjoys golfing, skiing, playing tennis, basketball…pretty much anything active. But most of all, he values spending time with his wife, Liz, and their two kids, Remy and Margot.
