Tara McDonald, SPHR

Tara joined Coldstream in 2017 after working with the firm for over a year as our human resources consultant. She possesses over 16 years of experience providing advice, counsel, and hands‐on HR services to a variety of small to medium‐sized businesses in the Puget Sound area. She also has over 25 years of recruiting experience, hiring high‐quality professionals with deep expertise in their fields.

Tara earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from Boston College, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington, and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Although she grew up in Massachusetts, she’s called Seattle home since 1992.

She feels privileged to collaborate with the talented and dedicated team members at Coldstream. She is inspired by Coldstream’s constant focus on providing exceptional service to clients.

When she’s not at work, she enjoys gardening, yoga, and spending time with her two kids.
