Sarah Jacobson

As Office Manager, Sarah ensures the office is running smoothly and effectively. She assists with the onboarding of new employees, processes benefit enrollments, and reconciles invoices. Her warm demeanor, ability to multi-task, and organizational skills make her a perfect fit for her role and overall, at Coldstream. She proactively resolves problems and improves workflow, so that Coldstream may provide an amazing client experience.

Sarah graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in marine biology and a minor in chemistry. She was previously a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant with a background in retail banking. Sarah has also worked in purchasing for a cabinet manufacturing company, as a senior zoo camp counselor at Santa Barbara Zoo, and as an intern in the Rocky Shores/Tundra exhibits at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.

MOST TREASURED THING I OWN

My daughter used a kit to paint her version of The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh and my son created a ceramic star wall hanging inspired by the same painting. Vincent van Gogh is my favorite artist and I especially love The Starry Night. I treasure both of their creations dearly.

Listen to all the advice you receive from friends/family/everyone, but ultimately you need to do what will work best for you & and your family.

HOBBIES

I love volunteering at The Seattle Aquarium and educating the public about conservation and our local sea creatures. I’m an avid reader and a big sci-fi fan, especially anything related to X-Files, Star Trek: TNG, Doctor Who, or written by Michael Crichton. More recently, I’ve become a fan of my kids’ sporting events—soccer, basketball, martial arts/jiu-jitsu, and wrestling.
