Melody M. Behnke, MBA, CFP®

Melody Behnke applies her vivacious personality and extraordinary discipline from more than 25 years in the Armed Forces to deliver unparalleled service to her clients, building personal relationships so that she can craft investment programs uniquely tailored to their objectives.

Melody joined Coldstream in 2024, bringing with her financial services industry experience that spans more than 30 years. She previously served as Senior Investment Advisor at Arnerich Massena; President and CEO of River Summit Consulting, LLC; Vice President of Member Firm Development for M Financial Group; Vice President of firm relations at National Financial Partners Corp., and Director of The Private Consulting Group.

Melody Behnke earned an MBA from Portland State University. She served in various roles in the Armed Forces. She retired in 2009 from the Oregon Air National Guard after 26 years of service at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and in the position of Deputy, Mission Support Group Commander. Melody has earned her CFP^® (Certified Financial Planner™) designation. She is a former FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 license holder, and holds Oregon life and health insurance licenses.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

We learn from life experiences whether good or bad. Just remember that we can learn just as much from a bad experience as we can from a good experience. So sometimes what we learn from the not-so-good experiences can turn into positive experiences in the future.

HOBBIES

I enjoy working out and being outdoors. I do Orangetheory year around. My husband and I are avid skiers, we enjoy snow skiing in the winter and water skiing in the summer. And when the weather is nice, I play as much golf as I can fit into my schedule!
