As a Tax Associate at Coldstream Tax & Consulting, Idley provides proactive tax services that align with clients’ overall wealth management strategies to help ensure peace of mind. He supports clients by performing financial analysis, reviewing account reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and handling tax returns for both individual and business clients. Idley works closely with advisors and senior team members to deliver excellent client service with strong attention to detail.

Idley has a diverse background in tax, audit, and financial accounting with experience across public accounting, private industry, and internship roles. Prior to Coldstream, his professional experience included working as Tax Staff at Baker Tilly (formerly Moss Adams), an Accountant at Fryer-Knowles Inc., an Assurance & Audit Intern at Moss Adams, and an Accounting Intern at IEH Laboratories. His experience spans GAAP-based financial reporting, account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, auditing, corporate, Flow-through Entities, non-profit, Trust and individual taxation, and general accounting operations. Idley holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the Milgard School of Business, has earned a Certificate of Accountancy from North Seattle College, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies, minoring in Law & Policy, from the University of Washington.
