Wealth Manager

When David joined the firm, we gained a Wealth Manager full of high character, highly capable to serve our clients. David looks forward to the opportunity to serve clients based solely on what’s best for them. Providing conflict-free planning and investment management service was something he knew he would be proud to do each day.

Bringing peace-of-mind to clients is incredibly rewarding and his favorite part of delivering financial advice. David enjoys knowing he can relieve client stress by assuring them they have us in their corner constantly looking out for their financial wellness.

David’s favorite part of the financial planning process is getting to know the client. “Just as there is so much more to people than their finances, there is so much more to a financial plan than numbers. The holistic approach we take to financial planning goes beyond just investment management, as we work to ensure our families are confident in all aspects of their financial lives.”

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

THE MOST TREASURED THING I OWN

Photos of my daughter, Cameron. Time has flown by as a dad, and I feel lucky to have become a parent during a time where my wife and I can have countless photos and videos at our fingertips. I’m not sure how parents survived in the 90’s with camcorders and getting film developed, but I do have some submissions ready for “America’s Funniest Home Videos”, whenever that makes a comeback.

ONE PIECE OF ADVICE

Take time to step back and remember your “why?” of personal finance. Life goals usually boil down to being able to do what you want, when you want, with whom you want. When it comes to finances and having a plan, it can be easy to lose sight of the forest for the trees.

HOBBIES

My wife, Colleen, and I stay busy raising our two young kids: Cameron and her little brother, Owen. Outside of that, I love to golf, hike, bike and consume as much baseball and basketball as possible. I coached high school basketball for seven years and would love to return to the sidelines or dugout at some point down the road.

What’s easily forgotten during this Summertime bliss is that for our nation’s Founding Fathers, it was hardly a smooth path to independence. They were metaphorically teenagers fed up with tightening rules and curfews, [...]

Diversifying Concentrated Stock Positions: Creating a Roadmap

As we continue exploring the road to diversifying concentrated stock positions (Part 1), you may want to ask yourself “what’s my worst acceptable scenario.” Sound dark? Well, it’s better than your worst non-acceptable scenario! Start with setting some guard rails. For example, if you aren’t comfortable with the possibility of getting nothing from your concentrated [...]

Diversifying Concentrated Stock Positions: Navigating the Path Less Traveled

Generating wealth and retaining wealth can be two conflicting skillsets, especially when a major source of that wealth is a concentrated stock position. The former requires bold risk-taking, optimism, and allowing eggs to pile up in one basket. The latter requires planning, humility, being proactive, and a certain degree of paranoia. Navigating this shift in [...]
