Amanda Stribrny

Operations Associate - Portfolio Management

(Pronouns: she/her/hers)

As an Operations Associate, Amanda supports the firm’s investment operations and trading functions, specializing in portfolio management. In collaboration with the Investment Strategy Group, Amanda helps optimize workflows leveraging tools like Tamarac and Salesforce, maintains investment models and security data, and assists with trade reconciliation and reporting. She’s involved in process improvements and provides support on training and issue-resolution to ensure operational efficiency across the firm. She collaborates closely with the Client Service team, recommending and implementing best practices that enhance systems, processes, and ultimately, the client experience.

Prior to joining Coldstream, Amanda began her career in public accounting as an auditor, where she worked with a range of industries including financial services—an experience that sparked a strong interest in asset management. This led to a transition into operations at Zevenbergen Capital Investments where she gained hands-on experience supporting portfolio management and trading functions. Amanda looks forward to continuing her financial career at Coldstream and working closely with the clients we serve.

Amanda holds her Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the University of Washington and her Master of Accountancy from Gonzaga University. She also holds her FINRA Series 65 license.

MOST TREASURED THING I OWN

My two long-haired dachshunds, Obie and Wendy, are my most treasured “possessions”, though let’s be honest, I’m just their full-time staff.

ONE PIECE OF ADVICE

Stay curious and don’t be afraid to ask why. The more you understand the “why” behind what you’re doing, the more empowered you become.

HOBBIES

Outside of work, I love roasting my own coffee beans and trying out new ways to perfect the morning cup. I’m always up for a travel adventure, tackling home improvement projects, or hosting friends and family. There’s nothing better than a weekend filled with good coffee, good company, and a little DIY.
