David Christian, CFP®

As a member of the firm’s Executive Team, David is responsible for driving organic growth and leading key practice management initiatives. He works closely with each wealth management team to refine their reach while cultivating talent. David is devoted to developing future leaders, helping team members thrive as an advocate and resource for their professional development.

David was a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch for 16 years. Before joining Coldstream, David co-founded Cable Hill Partners, where he served as Managing Director. In this role, he combined his deep experience working with high-net-worth clients with a passion for leadership, overseeing key client relationships and shaping the firm’s strategic vision- always keeping empowerment and long-term development at the forefront of his work. In 2025, Cable Hill Partners merged with Coldstream, thanks to the firms’ shared cultures of growth and professional excellence. David earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Oregon State University and holds his CFP®.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

David enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelli, and their daughters, Olivia and Mia, as well as traveling, scuba diving, and furthering his knowledge of wine.
