Dan Yeung, CFA®

As a Portfolio Manager, Dan is responsible for constructing long-term and strategic portfolios and determining asset allocation framework for clients. As a member of Coldstream’s investment strategy group, Dan engages in macroeconomic research, setting the firm’s asset allocation targets and sourcing and monitoring investment managers in both alternative and traditional asset classes. Dan enjoys getting to know the unique goals our clients have and creating portfolios suited to their risk levels.

With over 27 years of experience in manager research and investment management, prior to joining Coldstream, Dan spent 14 years with Caprock advising wealthy families and managing portfolios with a focus on alternative investments. His prior experience includes overseeing and managing mutual funds using institutional asset managers and a decade with Morningstar in the capacity of institutional investment consulting and manager research. In his spare time, Dan teaches advanced investment classes as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Washington Bothell School of Business.

Dan earned his MBA with concentrations in Analytic Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and BA with Honors in Economics from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Dan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
