Benji Spector

(Pronouns: he/him/his)

As a Portfolio Administrator, Benji works closely with Portfolio Managers to develop and process portfolio trades. He also collaborates to construct investment commentary. Benji is part of our dedicated, in-house Investment Strategy Group (ISG) which is responsible for setting firm-wide investment standards. Benji brings an analytical bent and relentless curiosity to Coldstream.

Benji attended the University of Oregon where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Coldstream, Benji worked as a Hebrew School Assistant at his synagogue, then as a camp counselor at a Jewish summer camp. Moving into the finance world, he was a marketing intern at Crowdsense.ai, a trading information software company, and then worked as an intern at Coldstream before becoming full-time. Benji looks forward to continuing his finance career in the wealth management space.

ONE PIECE OF ADVICE

Be nice and try to make a connection with everyone you meet! You never know what you have in common with someone; new friends and acquaintances can come from anywhere! The best kind of learning I have experienced is through person-to-person relationships and everyone has something to teach you!

HOBBIES

I love playing, coaching, and watching sports, especially basketball. I also go to see live music and music/arts festivals, camping, hiking, swimming, exercising, cooking and eating, traveling, participating in the Jewish community, and I always love to spend time with friends and family.
