Wealth Manager

(Pronouns: she/her/hers)

As a Wealth Manager, Katie is responsible for helping clients identify and achieve their financial goals over time through an approachable and understandable comprehensive wealth management plan. She coordinates with the clients’ other trusted advisors (CPA, attorney, insurance agents) to make sure families are covered across the board, and have confidence in their overall financial life.

It is no surprise that Katie’s favorite aspects of her role are building strong client relationships and working with a team who shares a similar passion. Katie believes it’s the transparency and trust we build with our clients that result in the effectiveness of the services we provide. “Knowing exactly what keeps our clients up at night or just being a friend to vent to about their anxieties is sometimes the best way to help.”

Katie holds the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner and her Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor license. She has a bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Oswego (SUNY Oswego) in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. Katie serves as a member on the Mary’s Place Finance Committee.

She is passionate about working at a firm that gives back to the community, has women in leadership positions, and opportunity to grow.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

THE MOST TREASURED THING I OWN

A framed sketch of my grandmother’s house. I was unable to see her or the house one last time after I moved to Seattle, and it reminds me of all the memories my family had there.

ONE PIECE OF ADVICE

Understand your spending. It’s so easy to lose track of expenses and knowing how much you can save will help you and your retirement plan.

HOBBIES

In my free time, I love travelling, camping, hiking, and spending time with my husband and dog. I’m also a reformed picky-eater, and like to try new foods, restaurants, and recipes.
