Kim Rosenberg, CFP®
Relationship Manager & Wealth Planner | 503.352.1300

Kim Rosenberg is a Relationship Manager & Wealth Planner at Coldstream.  Kim takes a holistic approach to achieving her clients’ financial goals which integrates planning, investing, wealth management, tax implications, and estate planning.  She believes in the power of developing comprehensive financial plans, designed to help the clients we serve understand their risk tolerance through complex scenario planning.  Kim is specially trained to support and advise clients going through major life and financial transitions, such as divorce, death, moving, inheritance, selling a business, or even receiving a windfall.

In 2007, Kim’s husband, who at that time had been battling cancer for almost a decade, learned he only had a few years to live.  Knowing she would be the sole source of financial support for her three teenagers, Kim was determined to educate herself about planning and investments.

Widowed in 2014, Kim committed herself to educating others about how they can take control of their money, leaning on her own deep empathy and experiences as a prior business owner, and as someone who has cared for an ill loved one and led a family in a time of grief.

Kim is a leader in her Portland, OR community and her industry.  She is a committee member of Transition Projects Development and Ninety-Nine Girlfriends.  Kim is a Certified volunteer through Family Reach, providing pro bono financial planning advice to individuals, families, and caregivers with cancer.  In 2019, she was the Keynote Moderator at the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland Women’s Philanthropy IMPACT Event.

Prior to joining Coldstream, Kim was the Managing Principal of Rosenbaum Financial.  She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she also spent time as a DJ at a local radio station in addition to her studies.  Kim earned an executive certificate in financial planning and financial planning services from the University of Portland Pamplin School of Business.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

A good name. That means I strive for a life of integrity; a life of goodness; a life well-lived that inspires others to live well.

Make time to dream. “Without leaps of imagination or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.” ― Gloria Steinem

I loves eating with friends (I do the dishes, they cook), reading, exercising, and presenting workshops to young adults about money.
